In this tour, you will get an opportunity to experience wildlife in Chitwan National Park and then rafting in Trishuli. – 7 days.

Trip Overview

Our trip will start from Kathmandu itself, where you will be visiting famous places like Pashupatinath temple, Boudhanath and Patan Durbar Square. After visiting the significant areas in Kathmandu valley, we will be travelling to Charaundi which is the starting point for rafting. The rafting will be started after the short brief about the safe rafting by the river guide. You will be experiencing the thrilling and exciting rafting experience which covers a distance around 17 km which would take almost 3 hours and finally end at Kurintar.
After dashing rafting at Trishuli, Chitwan is our next destination. We will be visiting the Tharu villages as well as enjoying their cultural dance in the night. Chitwan National park is the central place of attraction in Chitwan where you can enjoy elephant riding for jungle safari during which you can see rare animals like one-horned rhinos and Bengal tigers. You can also take pleasure in other activities like jeep safari for sightseeing wildlife and diverse ecosystem, bird watching, canoeing and Jungle walk with the trained guide. This exciting trip can present you a memorable travel experience.

Detail Itinerary

  • Day 1:Arrive Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

    Kathmandu lies near the Himalayan range, so as you arrive Kathmandu by air, you will get to see spectacular views of snow-capped mountains, along with other exciting terrains that are unique to Nepal.
    As you land at Tribhuvan Airport in Kathmandu, you will find one of our office representatives, with your name on a play-card, ready to receive you. After an introduction, our representative will take you to your hotel in a private vehicle. If you have plenty of time, you may ask our representative to suggest what you can do for the remaining part of the day. They will be happy to advise you. At the hotel, the guide will summarise you about your daily activities.

  • Day 2:Sightseeing tours of Boudhanath, Pashupatinath &Patan

    Kathmandu is the centre of Nepal’s history, culture, art and has been the most popular destination for tourist. The majority of the population in the city is a mix of Hinduism and Buddhism along with some western culture.
    We will visit Boudhanath which is the main Buddhist site in Kathmandu, listed as world heritage site by UNESCO. Pashupatinath template is our second destination, which is remarkable Hindu shrine of Lord Shiva in the world. Patan Durbar square renowned as the city of art, also listed in world heritage site is our next station which is around 5km far from Kathmandu. We walk through Patan Durbar Square and enjoy with the architectural wonders of Malla era. Krishna Mandir, Kumbheshwor, Mahaboudha, Ashokan Stupas, and the temple of Machhendranath and Minnath are the main attractions at the durbar square.

  • Day 3:Drive to Charaundi, Raft to Kuringhat

    Early in the morning, you will travel to Charaundi, and en route most amazing natural vistas of Himalayan beauty sprawls before you. On reaching the destination, you set for river rafting trip to Kuringhat, along with the raging waves of river Kali Gandaki. You conclude your whitewater river rafting for the day, as you set-up your tents in the campsite for your overnight stay.

  • Day 4:Drive to Chitwan.

    Raft to Mungling and Transfer to Chitwan. Today also you continue your rafting trip from Kuringhat to Mungling. While rafting to Mungling, you encounter overwhelming challenges and adventure. At around midday, you wrap up your whitewater river rafting trip at Mungling and head off to the Royal Chitwan National Park.

  • Day 5:Safari Excursion in Chitwan

    Safari Excursion in Chitwan, Chitwan National Park lies in the tropical Terai region. Royal Chitwan National Park and Devghat are the major attractions of Chitwan. Chitwan is rich in rare species of birds, animals and lush grasslands. Chitwan national park gives you a unique and exceptional wildlife experience. It is home to rare species of animals like the one-horned rhinoceros, Bengal tiger and other animals like wild boar, leopard, bear, bison, deer and crocodiles. You entertain yourself to the pure pleasure of jungle activities.
    Your safari excursion includes Elephant Safari, Wildlife safari, jeep safari, canoeing and bird watching. Unlike African animals, those in Chitwan tend to be somewhat solitary and shy, but the chances of seeing them are very high according to the expertise and experiences of guides.

  • Day 6:Transfer to Kathmandu

    Transfer to Kathmandu, free for independent activities. After your wildlife experience in Chitwan, you return to Kathmandu. You can spend your time indulging in any independent activities of your choice.

  • Day 7:Depart Kathmandu.

    This day will be your final day in Kathmandu, after breakfast, we will be taking you to Tribhuvan International Airport and bid you farewell. We hope by then, you will have had a pleasant and joyful trip with us. If you like you can join our other trip, we will be happy to suggest.
